Chef Profile – Mazen Akl
Meet chef Mazen Akl, a passionate Lebanese Canadian artist dedicated to sharinf the flavours and traditions of his heritage and reforming those special dishes for our modern times. Born in Lebanon and raised in Canada, Mazen draws insparation from his childhood memories of family gatherings and the wonderfully diverse culinary culture that is so present in YYc today. Chef Mazen's philosophy emphasizes warmth, hospitatility, and community while focusing on utilizing local and organix products whenever he can.
Working alongside Calgary's best chefs and completing his red seal training in SAIT, he has progressed into providing some of the city's most exclusive provate dining and private chef services. His fresh, vibrant, and versitile approach to the kitchen is something you have to witness for yourself.
